Donat Müller

Donat Müller (1804 - 1879) was a German composer of sacred music. He worked in Augsburg as the musical director of various churches. Four of his masses may be found in the musical archives of the cathedral of St. Gallen (Switzerland), which comprise an extensive collection of musical manuscripts and prints of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.

"Jesu dulcis memoria" ("Jesus, sweet remembrance") is a Christian hymn often attributed to Saint Bernard of Clairvaux. The name can refer either to the entire poem, which, depending on the manuscript, ranges from forty-two to fifty-three stanzas, or only the first part.
