Joseph Gregor Zangl (1821 - 1897) was an Austrian
(Tyrol) composer from the 19th century. His religious
compositions numbered almost 20 in the form of Masses
and non-secular works. Very little has been written
about his life or compositions.
Although originally created for accompanied chorus, I
created this arrangement for Winds (Flute, Oboe, Bb
Clarinet, English Horn, French Horn & Bassoon) and
Strings (Violins (2), Viola, Cello & Bass), French Horn
& Woodwinds (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, & Bassoon).
