About the artist

I was born in 1959. At the age of nine I started playing the piano. After completing piano lessons at the local music school, aged 17, I haven't had any further musical education. Having worked as a biologist for some time, I switched to IT. After 25 years in the IT department of the local hospital, I have now retired.
I like to improvise on the piano, and with the help of music notation software I try to capture some of my improvisations.

This immediately reminded me of the Chopin Waltz in A minor. Free, improvised and again sincere. I like that!

This is such a beautiful piece! I was listening to the MP3 posted here over and over again :) The sheet music is clear/easy to read/well notated as well.
