About the artist

Born in 1961, Didier Favre began studying music at the Regional Conservatory of Grenoble (France) where he graduated in 1978 with highest honors in French horn. In 1981 he entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Lyon to pursue concurrent studies in horn and composition. Following his initial employment with the Nice Opera orchestra, Mr. Favre has enjoyed a successful
career as associate principal horn of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic since 1991.

J\'ai pris la liberté de l\'interpréter au basson au lieu du violoncelle, c\'est tout aussi délicieux. Félicitations ! Voilà un \"hobby\" qui mériterait plus de temps.

Un très joli morceau. Avec une partie harpe tout de même un peu difficile, mais pas insurmontable, loin de là. Je le conseille à tout ceux qui ont l'occasion de faire un duo harpe violoncelle.
De plus, nous avons été assez heureuse car nous n\'en trouvions pas beaucoup pour ces deux instrument.

This is a truly moving and beauiful piece. I play cello myself and believe me, there is not much out there for cello and harp. I would like to thank Mr. Favre Didier for putting sharing this beauty with the world.
