Miska (Michael) Hauser (* 1822 in Pressburg , † December 8th 1887 in Vienna ) was an Austro-Hungarian violin virtuoso and composer . Hauser's father, a well-known violinist and friend of Beethoven , awoke in his son's passion for playing the violin. His musical education was at Bratislava at Hauser Josef Matalay . Starting from 1835 he sat in Vienna his lessons in violin playing at Joseph Böhm and Josef Mayseder continued and studied composition with Conradin Kreutzer and Simon Sechter . auser wrote some small-scale Violonkompositionen of which songs without words for violin and hongroise Rhapsody for violin were popular. The special feature of his work was the use of Hungarian rhythmical intonation idiosyncrasies . His first in the East German Post (Vienna) published as letters impressions of his great American journey was Hauser out later in book form: From the hiking book an Austrian virtuoso (Leipzig 1858/59, 2 volumes).
