The LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER SW II ... (+)
(+)
The LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER SW II is a compact high-end preamp for all types of electric and acoustic instruments - a preamp for electric and acoustic guitars and basses, not to mention other stringed instruments (such as violins, cellos and double basses) to realize their full musical potential. The switchable version expands on the classic LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER II with a soft-touch foot switch, to activate and deactivate the pedal. The LEHLE-Switch works with a microcontroller and an intelligent True-Bypass-Relay-Circuit with active pop suppression circuit, thereby allowing the LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER SW II to switch even faster than mechanical switches, noise-free and without wear. The easy-action mushroom-shaped button characteristic of LEHLE products is mounted in the cover, so that your foot pressure is transmitted indirectly, via a spring. Thus the electronics board is not exposed to mechanical loads, making the LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER SW II virtually indestructible and guaranteeing years of trouble-free switching. When ON, its circuit is based on a discrete Class A circuit with JFET technology and provides two modes of operation, selected by a mode selector switch with gold-plated contacts: D stands for Driver: in this mode, your guitar signal is amplified, with absolutely no modification, at the input impedance of a guitar amp, efficiently eliminating losses on the route through leads and effects; the signal remains strong and clear, retaining its full dynamics. The second setting S - as in Sunday - multiplies the input impedance by five, bringing out previously inaudible details and, as gain increases, giving your guitar a characteristic and unmistakable warmth that has given this preamp its name - the result is a sound as mellow as a sunny Sunday afternoon. Even at the maximum 18 dB gain setting, the LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER II always stays clean and absolutely free of background noise, thanks to its studio-standard overall dynamic range of 130 dB. To exploit the dynamics of tube amplifiers to the full, the input voltage is also rectified from the power supply socket, then filtered, stabilized and transformed to 30 V. When OFF, the LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER SW II provides two different modes of operation: in TB (= True Bypass) mode, the input and output are linked via relay, with zero tonal loss. True-Bypass mode is the best option if you have a small setup with short cable routings and for when a treble booster or old-school fuzz pedal is placed after the LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER SW II. If you have long cables or a complex effects board configuration, switch to TS (= True Sound) mode, and the LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER SW II is active as a buffer, without amplifying or modifying the signal in any way. In this mode, the LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER SW II operates as a totally neutral line-driver equivalent to mode D with the gain pot turned all the way to the left. The Bypass mode option enables you to effortlessly and tone-fully integrate the LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER SW II into any setup, no matter how complex. High-end preamp, buffer and booster Discrete Class A input stage 130 dB dynamic range thanks to 30 V technology Choose between two sound modes Neutral, studio quality sound Switchable boost up to 18 dB Choose between Buffer and True-Bypass operation Balanced output can be used as a DI box

PHANTOM POWERED, ULTRA-QUIET VERSION OF THE ICONIC R44 MICROPHONE The A440 is the quietest high-performance ribbon microphone ever produced. It combines all of the warmth and beauty of the classic 44 with a signal so hot, you ll have to experience it to believe it. As with the rest of AEA's Big Ribbon microphones, it needs very little EQ, takes it nicely when you want it, and is free of resonances in the audible range. The A440 is unlike any other microphone on the market today, and no professional studio should be without one. Like its passive cousin, the R44CX, the A440 is based on the RCA 44BX, but is phantom powered and uses a custom-made German transformer. The active electronics are inspired by AEA s acclaimed TRP JFET preamp technology, providing a consistent sound immune to preamp loading. The A440 uses the same RCA NOS (new-old stock) ribbon element, only 1.8 microns thick, which is hand-cut from material originally manufactured for RCA. It features a museum-quality shell with a durable bronze investment cast yoke. Umber paint and a red medallion on the transformer case, and a bright nickel finish with polished brass accents are the icing on the cake for this piece of beauty. Because of its exceptionally low noise floor and its classic sound characteristics, the A440 has quickly become a favorite of even the most critical ears. Orchestral sampling experts EastWest Studios now favor their pair of A440s over their vintage RCA 44s due to the advantages in noise performance.Musicians with very high sound-quality demands and the desire for a long-lasting investment for their microphone locker gravitate towards the A440. Legendary guitarists Peter Frampton and Neil Young, or Irish alternative rockers The Script, all share their love for this stunning microphone. FEATURES - Phantom powered Big Ribbon microphone with 18 dB more gain than the R44 - JFET active electronics in the AEA TRP tradition - Exceptionally low equivalent noise level 6 dB(A): quietest ribbon microphone ever made - Long ribbon sound in the 44 tradition - Authentic RCA New Old Stock ribbon material - Investment cast bronze yoke and machined brass parts, no zinc - Single-diaphragm with well-controlled, native figure-8 polar pattern - Consistent horizontal polar response, on and off axis - 90º null-plane helps reject difficult acoustics - High SPL capability: 132.5 dB with a load of 1 kOhm - Hand built to order - Computer matched to production reference standards - Custom German toroidal transformer

The KU4 has the unmistakable c... (+)
(+)
The KU4 has the unmistakable characteristics of a smooth ribbon sound, yet it is uniquely different. Like other ribbons, its lightly-tensioned, ultra low mass ribbon has a frequency response beyond 20 kHz, an accurate transient response, and no upper midrange resonances common to large condenser mics. Having a supercardioid instead of a figure-eight polar response pattern mics sets it apart from other ribbon mics. The KU4's suppressed rear lobe reduces the pickup of room ambience and is especially useful when the rear of a figure-eight pattern would pick up undesirable sounds. The KU4's reduced bass proximity effect facilitates closer miking, while its low-tuned ribbon does not exhibit bass distortion. These characteristics make the KU4 well-suited for the modern studio. It is currently the only supercardioid ribbon microphone in commercial production. The KU4 is a re-vision of the legendary RCA KU3A, a unidirectional microphone originally designed for the Hollywood movie studios. Also known as the 10001 (for its RCA manufacturing number), it was RCA s most expensive ribbon microphone and fewer than 600 units were ever manufactured. The KU3A combined the smooth ribbon sound of a 44 with a unidirectional pattern, a wide sweet spot, and reduced proximity bass boost. Expanding an engineer's range of placement choices, it became a standard at film studios around the world. Today, however, the KU3A is a rare collector's item, and only a handful of studios or rental houses own them. The few lucky owners of vintage KU3As in great condition like Grammy-winning producer/engineer Kevin Augunas (Sound City Studios) treat their mics as little treasures. Original KU3As are notorious for their sonic inconsistencies due to production tolerances, so with the KU4, we at AEA engineered the microphone from the ground up in order to recreate this seminal design while ensuring flawless consistency from unit to unit. AEA is proud to put this microphone back into the hands of modern users. The KU4 is your ticket to discovering why RCA unidirectional ribbon microphones have been used in professional studios for over 60 years. AEA is honored to play a part in its history, and invites you to listen to the KU4 and claim your part of this legacy. The KU4 utilizes a medium sized ribbon unlike all other AEA mics. While AEA s Large Ribbon Geometry TM design offers advantages like extended bass response and maximum SPL level, the KU4 s shorter and narrower ribbon is characterized by a unique upper midrange presence that is particularly interesting for vocals and acoustic stringed instruments. Because of the shorter ribbon, the KU4 is much more similar to the venerable RCA 77 type microphone rather than the RCA 44. By comparison to the 77, the KU4 has a slightly longer ribbon, a fixed polar pattern, and a more natural sounding unidirectional mode. Compared to other non-bidirectional ribbon mics like the Beyer M160, the KU4 s ribbon is 50% longer providing better bass response and higher SPL handling capabilities. - Unidirectional (supercardioid) pickup pattern - Reduced proximity effect and room ambience - Extended top end with classic ribbon smoothness - Modern, consistent version of the RCA KU3A

THE FAITHFUL REPRODUCTION OF THE ICONIC RCA 44 The Reinvention of a Classic Whether it be the smooth brass section of a Hollywood soundtrack, the velvety lushness of a jazz vocal, or the larger-than-life drum sound of a classic rock record - chances are that you will find a 44 ribbon mic used on most of your favorite albums. In studio use for more than 80 years, the 44 ribbon design by RCA is as rich in history as it is in sound and character. When the company s microphone division was closed down in 1976, we at AEA began servicing ribbon microphones, and by 1998 we were manufacturing 100% of the parts for the 44, resulting in the release of our very own version of this classic mic. Its recognizable sound produces thunderous lows due to the strong proximity effect, full and rich mids, and a unique top end taking the edge off of harsh instruments. This beautiful, natural-sounding microphone provides an unmatched authenticity of sonic reproduction, particularly when placed at a distance in a well-tuned room. History Repeating Forty years of servicing ribbon microphones has given AEA a lot of insight into why RCA 44s are still in daily use at world-class studios. Designed in the 1930s, the 44 was a groundbreaking revolution in recording technology. At a time when engineers had only one, maybe two microphones to record anything from a solo artist to an entire orchestra, studio mics had to deliver a great sound in every application. With its extended reach, reliability, and high fidelity sound, the 44 set a new quality standard for broadcast, recording, motion pictures, and sound reinforcement work. Even though ribbon mics fell out of fashion in the days of tape recording, many studios like Capitol Records or Warner kept their revered 44s in service. Since the advent of the digital revolution, the 44 is now back in demand more than ever. Reborn as the AEA R44, this mic is a permanent fixture in the studios of esteemed engineers and producers such as Bruce Swedien, Kevin Bacon, Shawn Murphy, and John Kurlander, and half the movies scored in Los Angeles now have an AEA 44 somewhere on the scoring stage. The R44 Microphone Family The AEA R44-series microphones all share the authentic sound, feel and look of the 1936-38 RCA 44BX. The R44 series microphones are all detailed, hand-crafted replicas, using parts that are made to be interchangeable with an original RCA 44. They even feature ribbon material originally manufactured for RCA. The original 44 microphones were constantly updated during their twenty years of production, and after carefully looking at some of the technical modifications, we at AEA decided to adopt the British engineering from RCA that reduces the mic's weight and hum sensitivity. The R44C was designed to meet or exceed the output of a brand-new RCA 44. It is a museum-quality replica, featuring a bronze investment cast yoke, superior to the original zinc yokes by RCA (which tend to corrode over time), a hand-polished cushion mount and a cloth-covered Accusound Silver Studio Pro cable. The R44CX is a high-output, red-badge version of the R44C, specially designed for scoring and other applications demanding a wide dynamic range with the classic 44 sound. The cost-effective R44CE features the exact same ribbon, transformer, and luscious sound as the R44C, but with a simpler, economical exterior trim. This version features a one-piece cushion mount, a formed steel yoke with satin nickel finish, and a star-quad XLR output cable. Finally, the R44CXE is the high output version of the R44CE combining the economical finish with the higher output of the R44CX. FEATURES - Museum grade reproduction of the RCA 44B/BX - New-old stock (NOS) RCA ribbon material - Legendary character with more than 80 years of studio history - Full and rich sound; smooth highs and warm lows - X motor option delivers 6 dB more dynamic range for film scoring

Evolution Of A Revolution Yet another quantum leap in tuning Positively PolyTune The original PolyTune rocked the world. It forever changed the way we look at tuning. The world s first polyphonic tuner took the hearts of guitarists by storm. Was it the jaw-droppingly awesome polyphonic tuning that made tuning much faster, easier and intuitive The bright LED matrix with auto-dimming that ensured maximum visibility Tuning Magnet, the slowing of the needle as you approached the correct pitch Maybe the MonoPoly technology that sensed whether you played one or six strings and instantly adjusted accordingly Like musicians who never really know how they wrote that number 1 hit, it was probably a combination of factors for us. Whatever it was, you loved it and we loved it! But at TC Electronic we re all about moving forward, so we ve improved on perfection and added some guitarist gems that cement PolyTune 2 as the leader of the pedal tuning pack. PolyTune® Technology Tune All Strings Simultaneously Retina-scorching Bright Display Ultra-precise Chromatic Strobe Tuner Polyphonic Perfection Unless you ve been living under a rock for the past few years, you ll know this. With PolyTune, you simply strum all strings on your guitar or bass at once and it will immediately tell you which strings need tuning! It really is as simple as strum - tune - rock! This way, you spend minimum time tuning and maximum time doing what you love the most - playing. And They Thought Einstein Was Bright! You ain t seen nothing yet! The display on PolyTune 2 is primed with some of the brightest LEDs you ve ever laid your eyes on. Remember when some tuners were really good for daytime gigs, and others excelled in dark clubs With PolyTune 2, you get an instant clear overview, no matter what the situation. And the ambient light sensor makes sure you get just the right amount of brightness. Every time. It s truly amazing how bright they get, so don t come complaining if planets want to orbit your pedalboard. The Strobe Is Strong With This One The original PolyTune was best in class when it came to precision. Great but why stop there We ve received many requests from the guitar community to add a strobe tuner a decision we d been debating internally as well. So let there be strobe! For fine-tuning your precious gear and giving it the care and attention it deserves, to super accurate tuning in the studio or by a roadie on stage. This strobe tuner is lightning fast and ultra precise. But how precise is it Well, let s just say if you tune and then put your pick on the fret-board you re going to see the difference (we re not even joking). PolyTune 2 FineTuning Innovation With PolyTune 2, we wanted enhanced performance and maximum precision, without getting away from what made the original PolyTune such a hit. Have a look at our feature list, which combines the revolutionary with a strong display of innovation. Full Strobe Ahead The strobe tuner in PolyTune 2 is super accurate and super fast. Finetune your instruments with surgical precision at blinding speeds. Sounds good, right We re talking /- 0.1Cent tuning accuracy and in case you don t really know what that means believe us there are atomic clocks that d kill for that accuracy. Tuning Magnet The tuner magnet feature slows down the needle once you get close to the desired pitch, delivering a quick and easy tuning experience any time, every time. MonoPoly MonoPoly instantly recognizes whether you play one or more strings and replies with the appropriate polyphonic or monophonic tuning mode. Total recall PolyTune 2 stores your preferences. From pitch reference to tuning mode, it hangs on to this information even after it is powered down, making sure you only have to set how you want things to happen once. Brighten Up Your Day This feature will make you smile. Basically, the new LEDs in PolyTune 2 are bright enough to be seen from space, but the ambient light sensor in PolyTune 2 ensures you always have the right brightness. The result A clear and pleasant visibility, no matter what situation you re in. True Bypass This allows for your carefully sculpted tone to flow unaffected when the pedal is bypassed and for silent tuning once engaged. PolyTune 2 Resume PolyTune® - Tune all strings simultaneously New chromatic strobe tuner - 0.1 cent tuning accuracy New bigger and brighter LED display with ambient light sensor Drop-D and capo tuning modes True bypass with silent tuning DC output for powering other pedals (power supply not included) 3M Velcro for pedal board attachment

Roland TR-909 Rhythm ComposerThe TR-909 featured the sampled and analog drum sounds that have become synonymous with house and techno music. This programmable, step-sequenced drum machine was launched in 1983, and while it was not an instant commercial success, it soon gained an underground following. With DIN Sync 24, MIDI In and Out and individual outputs for each sound, the TR-909 could be integrated into any studio and offers numerous controls for controlling each sound. The TR-909 has been used by The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Moby, Fatboy Slim, Orbital and Jean Michel Jarre. It would be hard to find a techno or house producer who hasn t used a TR-909 kick in a track at some point.LinnDrumThe inspirational LinnDrum was created by Linn Electronics in 1982, using superior sounding samples that gave birth to a new generation of users who are synonymous with the sound of the 80 s. The LinnDrum was used on countless classics tracks throughout the 80s, including hits by Prince, Tears for Fears and Madonna.Oberheim DMXLaunched in 1981, the Oberheim DMX also used sampled sounds of real drums, individual tuning controls for each voice and a swing function to add a little grove. The controls gave the DMX the ability to emulate a real drummer via timing variations, rolls and flams to create a more human feel . The DMX has 11 samples, which can be used to create 24 individual drum sounds and allows up to 8 voices simultaneously. It has 8 separate outputs for individual channel processing and holds up to 100 sequences and 50 songs. The DMX s hard-hitting and convincing drum sound made it attractive to artists and producers in the burgeoning Hip-Hop culture and it is featured on many of the scenes early innovative records. New Order used the DMX to great effect on their 1983 single, Blue Monday with its repeating bass drum pattern. E-mu SP-1200Released in 1987, the E-mu SP-1200 was quickly accepted into the Hip-Hop world due to its limited bandwidth sampling rate, classic 4-pole filter and 12-bit sampling resolution. This all contributed to the unit s gravelly sounds, which have been featured on many hit recordings. The SP-1200 s ability to build the main structure of a song within a single piece of gear (a first in the industry) cut Hip-Hop artists loose from the studio to perform live alongside the machine. Famous users include the Beastie Boys, The Prodigy and Daft Punk.AKAI MPC60The celebrated Akai MPC was designed by Roger Linn and produced by Akai from 1988 onwards. The MPC allowed artists to use new clever ways to manipulate small samples to create a completely new track. These snippets were often lifted from other records and thus started a new style of Sound-Collage . The original MPC60 only allowed sample lengths of up to 13 seconds. Sampling memory was expensive at the time, which steered people to records at higher5 speeds in order to gain more time. The side effect was playback at a lower resolution, which contributed to the grittiness of the sound. Famous users include Kanye West, Dr. Dre and Mark Ronson. The Godin 5th Avenue brings you back to a time when the archtop acoustic guitar reigned supreme. With the soul of a 1950’s archtop, the 5th Avenue is a true vintage spirit of yesterday with today’s level of modern playability. With more projection & volume in the low/mids than traditional archtop acoustic guitars, the dynamically rich tone of the 5th Avenue makes this sophisticated instrument a dream to play, but not a nightmare to pay for. The Godin 5th Avenue now makes the affordable North American archtop guitar a reality! From Alt-Country, Delta Blues, Slide, Jazz to Rock, the 5th Avenue can really deliver both acoustically and electrically. The new Godin Kingpin P90 single-coil pickup delivers all that classic, vintage tone with presence, clarity and a little attitude thrown in for good measure!Made from Canadian Wild Cherry, the body of the 5th Avenue features a molded arched top and back, as well as an adjustable rosewood bridge, classic f-holes, contoured high-gloss headstock, floating pickguard and cream binding. Also, the rustic beauty of its Custom Polished Finish creates a gorgeous satin sheen reminiscent of the French polish of the 19th century.SpecsCanadian Wild Cherry archtopCanadian Wild cherry back & sidesSilver Leaf maple neckContoured high-gloss black headstockCustom Polished Finish reminiscent of thefrench polish of the 19th centuryRosewood FingerboardAdjustable Rosewood BridgeCream Binding1x Godin Kingpin P90 single-coil pickup1x Volume, 1x Tone16 (406 mm) fingerboard radius24.84 (630 mm) Scale1.72 (43 mm) nut width

Busy working drummers love the ability to bring studio-style impact to their core acoustic sounds and be able to cover the electronic percussion parts that are so essential to modern music styles. At first, creating a hybrid acoustic-electronic setup can seem daunting. But with the TM-1, it s easy for any player to start their hybrid journey. Just mount one or more Roland trigger devices within your setup, connect them to the TM-1, and access any sound you need. With dedicated controls for sensitivity, pitch, and more, there s no technical knowledge required for operation simply turn the knobs until the sound is right to you and start playing! Cover Any Gig with 15 Ready-to-Play Kits When playing on stage with just your acoustic kit, it s difficult or impossible to change your sound on the fly. But with a hybrid drum kit, changes can be made in an instant. Now you can play the sound of that unique drum you couldn t bring to the gig, or incorporate samples and loops to enhance and expand your main drum sound. Out of the box, the TM-1 has 15 ready-to-go kits with two instruments in each. The free editor app unlocks access to a library of over 150 additional sounds, including kick, snare, and other drums, and even synth loops. And with the ability to add your own sounds via the editor as well, the sonic possibilities are virtually endless. Whatever you want to achieve, changing your kit s sound during the set has never been easier. Editor App for Sample Import and Quick Sound Creation A hybrid drum setup lets you choose and customize the sounds for your entire setlist, so each song gets the perfect drum sound. With the TM-1 Editor, you re able to access all the module s internal sounds, import your own original samples, assign sounds to each trigger pad, and quickly customize them however you like. Samples up to six seconds long can be imported from your computer, tablet, smartphone, or even cloud storage. And you don t have to take your laptop to the gig to change up sounds at the last second just use your smartphone! Enhance Your Acoustic Drum Sounds with Roland RT-Series Triggers Your acoustic drum sound is king, but it can nearly always benefit from some sonic reinforcement at live gigs. The kick and snare are the backbone to a band s sound, but it can be a challenge to get them to cut through when playing with loud guitars, bass, and keys. By using Roland s RT-series acoustic triggers, you can layer samples from the TM-1 with your own kick and snare and amplify them together through the PA, providing increased punch, clarity, and depth that perfectly complements your core acoustic sound. For years, metal drummers have been enhancing their kick drums with electronic samples especially when playing fast double-kick phrases as it really helps cut through a dense mix. But this technique isn t just for speed players; every drummer can take advantage of these powerful hybrid benefits with the TM-1. Expand Your Percussion Palette with Roland Trigger Pads The TM-1 is also a great way to expand the variety of sounds available from your acoustic drum kit. By adding an electronic drum pad, you can perform with any sound assigned to it. There are two trigger inputs available, allowing you to connect two single-trigger pads or one dual-trigger pad. Most Roland drum pads work with the TM-1, including the compact BT-1 Bar Trigger Pad, KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal, V-Pads, and V-Cymbals. It s even possible to connect BOSS footswitches like the FS-5U or FS-6 and use them as compact floor-based triggers. And don t forget that you can use the TM-1 s built-in footswitches to trigger sounds as well. Ultra-Portable and Built for the Road The TM-1 s compact size lets you take it wherever you want, and the stompbox-style design fits easily alongside your other floor-mounted gear. Better still, support for battery operation eliminates the hassle of finding AC power when you need to set up in a hurry or perform outdoors. The TM-1 is lightweight enough to throw into a bag or instrument case, and robust enough to travel thanks to its metal-body construction and rugged footswitches. Trigger-to-MIDI Conversion for Your Computer Whether you re producing at home, working in the studio, or performing live, you sometimes need to send a MIDI signal when you hit a pad. The TM-1 performs this trigger-to-MIDI conversion simply by connecting it to a computer via USB, allowing you to trigger sounds in drum samplers and plug-in instruments, record MIDI tracks in a DAW, or control clips and other functions in performance software like Ableton Live.
