The TRACKPACK 2x2 has everything you need to record music to your computer. This complete bundle consists of a Tascam US-2x2 USB audio interface, a TM-80 studio static microphone with its elastic suspension, a TH-02 headset, and the Cubase LE audio workstation software. The US-2x2 is a 2-in / 2-out USB audio / MIDI interface perfectly suited for music creation - and especially for novice users. It offers high-level recording functionality, with 24-bit / 96 kHz quality, and its ease of use allows for high-quality recording as soon as it is connected. Mic preamps are a key factor in audio quality: the US-2x2 incorporates mic preamps with Ultra-HDDA technology, with an equivalent input noise level (EIN) of 125 dBu: in other words, a noise level very very low background. Thanks to its very wide dynamic range, this interface can be used with dynamic microphones as well as static microphones. It is therefore ideal for a wide variety of applications, such as recording voices, pianos and acoustic guitars. Its radical look, with its sloping facade, is the creation of a German designer who has already worked on many well-known devices used in musical creation; it is optimized for ease of use when the interface is placed on a surface. The TM-80 is a cardioid directivity static microphone, ideal for voices, drums or acoustic instruments. It comes with an elastic suspension attenuating extraneous bass noise transmitted by the ground, and a table tripod facilitating its use. The TH-02 closed headphones provide effective sound isolation from the environment, which is convenient when recording. It is also an excellent benchmark in mixing.
