This so very interesting and delightful. The mirrored violin and flute are particularly effective and those large chords following flute passages beautifully punctuate those particular phrases. … But the heart of the piece is the slighty-Rennaisance galliard that is the center of the piece. Such a rich texture you have created within this passage that serves as a foil to the more contemporary counterpoint that precedes and follows it. Bravo on writing such a beautiful score.

The exquisite counterpoint throughout is simply mesmerizing. What an engaging and interesting piece of music. The “interlude” section is the perfect contrast to all the allegro figures that precede and follow it. (And then you do it again! Perfect.) This is really beautifully conceived, Pierre. Congratulations on yet another beautiful piece of piano solo music.

Une très belle page de musique, qui utilise avec finesse les codes du romantisme. Ce n'est qu'un détail, et il s'agit d'un point de vue tout à fait personnel, mais je trouve que le point d'orgue final est peut-être de trop. J'aurais préféré une tenue de note un peu moins longue. Bravo en tout cas pour cette très belle esquisse.
