Alfredo Teixeira is Professor and researcher in the fields of cultural anthropology (Catholic University of Portugal) . He developed his musical studies at the School of Music Conservatory in the class of organ (Simões da Hora and Rui Paiva). He continued, however, studies in singing with Manuela de Sá, chamber music with Fernando Eldoro, and composition with Jorge Peixinho and Eurico Carrapatoso.
