Born in 1968 in Poznan (Poland). Studied composition at Poznan Music Academy under the direction of Jan Astriab. In 1994 received a scholarship allowing him to enter Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Italy, where he studied under Ennio Moriccone?s direction.
