I really like the way you have developed this piece, Charlie. Initially, the harmonic underpinning is just slightly OFF,,,in such a good way, clearly emphasizing, but gently, the idea of lost or forgotten toys (or hopes and dreams). Then the A-flat section spins out a little more of the story in a cascading set of measures that are very satisfying, indeed. The whole concept just WORKS so well. Bravo.
