„Canción Del Carretero“ was originally composed by
the Argentine composer Carlos López Buchardo
(1881-1948) and it was published with lyrics of the
poet, lyricist and filmmaker Gustavo Alberto Caraballo
(1885-1939) in the notebook „Seis Canciones Al Estilo
Popular“ (1925) with a dedication to Señora Sarah
Sagasta de Sagarna. Atahualpa Yupanqui first recorded
his instrumental solo guitar arrangement on the first
of June 1956 in Argentine and it was released on the
album „Solo de guit...(+)
