This one is definitely denser and somewhat more powerful and "defined" in my opinion. I do hear some approaches to C minor, just sometimes. Perhaps it's just me.
↪ Thank you again for your wonderful comment. Rather strangely I regard this 2nd movement as the "principle" movement in the whole sonata. I must admit that C minor (even if it makes an appearance) was a long way from my thoughts. I usually make up the scale(s) of a movement before I start composing - and in fact this movement is based on a series of 12 notes: E Eb A E G F F Eb Gb Db G Gb ! (I work in my own little world!)
