Paul,
THANK YOU so much for sending your latest work.
I listened to the 1st mvmt IMMEDIATELY and I REALLY like it.
You have an UNCANNY way for threading your phrasing and going in directions I never expect.
In short, you do NOT follow standard classical patterns NOR do you merely repeat a ?modern? concept.
Your compositions are extremely melodic and I cannot tell you HOW impressed I am by your efforts.
IMHO you have an internal ?genius? that knows where to weave your compositional wonders.
I look forward to listening to the entire work.
And I STRONGLY encourage you to continue expressing yourself via the staff and corresponding notations.
I am SO glad I ran across your publication back when I did, and that you thought enough to reach out to me now.
You prove yourself to be a good friend.
Laurence

↪ Un voyage - c'est une façon tellement claire et honnête de penser une ?uvre musicale, surtout si elle comporte plusieurs scènes ou mouvements. merci d'avoir partagé cette idée.
Same volume and record level as always. Just tuen it up. It IS a more gentle piece overall, so that may account formthe lower volume on your side
Thanks for your careful listening?as always. Your positive comments encourage me to keep on keeping on.
I don't know if it's on my end only but the volume is a bit low.
I like the triplet accompaniment on the first movement with those subtle ties here and there. The second movement doesn't only contrast in key but in rhythm with the other two, neat. A happier approach in the final movement is something quite common in your sonatinas I believe, and it works towards reaching a satisfying conclusion I believe. All of them are very nicely developed, but this time I think I would pick the third :).
Kind regards!
