Kantate Zum Neujahrstag. Par BACH JOHANN SEBASTIAN. This cantata was first performed in Leipzig on New Year’s Day 1726. It belongs to a small group of compositions which were composed between Advent 1725 and mid-January 1726 and whose text were written by the same author.
