DanemarkGeorg August Lumbye ( 26 August 1843 in Copenhagen – 29 October 1922 at Oringe near Vordingborg ) was a Danish composer and orchestra leader. He was the son of HC Lumbye and the brother of Carl Christian Lumbye . His son Theodor (Tippe) Lumbye was also a musician and composer.
