Bob Chilcott's The Twelve Days Of Christmas for SATB Choir with one Piano (with or without 1 or 2 Percussion players) or two Pianos (with or without 1 or 2 Percussion players) or Orchestra. This work is classic Chilcott - vibrant fresh and great fun. It is an exuberant setting of the well-known carol in which the 'five gold rings' refrain is re-written to appear in an array of guises: gentle soprano solo swinging barbershop quartet hard funk and rock gospel style. This version is for an SATB Choir but retains the flexibility to include 'guest' performers. Even the audience can join in.
