Oculi Omnium was composed by Bob Chilcott for The King's Singers in 2010. The Observer explained Bob Chilcott as ?a contemporary hero of British choral music.?Bob Chilcott has been working as a choral composer and conductor since leaving The King's Singers in 1997. While in The King's Singers he was a prolific arranger also writing original works.

Like A Singing Bird by Bob Chilcott beautifully combines a melodic setting of Christina Rossetti's 'A Birthday' with Robert Burns' 'A Red Red Rose' sung to the tune of a traditional Scottish ballad. Both themes are imbued with a sense of happiness and contentment with the world and the interplay between the melodies results in a truly stirring finish.

Vocal Score Piano Reduction-Following the success of Salisbury Vespers Bob Chilcott further explores the large-scale liturgical genre with his solemn yet uplifting Requiem. Setting words from the Missa pro defunctis and the Book of Common Prayer the work gives a new slant to established texts: a beautiful setting of 'Thou knowest Lord' sits alongside the powerful 'Offertorio' driving 'Sanctus' and enchanting 'Pie Jesu'.Deserving of a place among the canon of previous settings Chilcott's Requiem is an elegy for the modern day.

Several new pieces have been composed especially for the collection: Alan Bullard's jubilant carol 'Ring the Bells'; Cecilia McDowall's exquisite lullaby setting of a William Blake text; an enchanting piece by Howard Skempton perfectly crafted in his unique voice; and a clever wassail-style carol from Roderick Williams. These appear alongside popular carols in new arrangements for upper voices. For Him all Stars is sure to delight audiences and inspire both young and adult choirs alike.

This is a highly effective concert setting of the Latin Missa Brevis in which Chilcott's Jazz influences come to the fore. Originally commissioned for upper voices by Cheryl Dupont and the New Orleans Children's Chorus the work embraces a variety of Jazz styles. The Kyrie has real groove the Gloria swings the Sanctus sits right back the Benedictus hums along and the Agnus Dei draws inspiration from the Blues. The voices are underpinned by a characterful Piano accompaniment which can be played as written or serve as a guide and bass and drums can join in ad lib to add the flavour of an authentic Jazz combo. This is gorgeous soulful music in an utterlyoriginal setting.

On Christmas Night is a musical celebration of the Christmas story presented as a sequence of eight original carols. Chilcott calls upon several familiar carol melodies within his own settings resulting in an impressive array of styles and moods-from comforting and reflective to jubilant swinging and folksy. The work as a whole can be performed liturgically or in concert with or without the composer's suggested readings while individual carols may also be programmed separately. Combining tradition and invention On Christmas Night is a versatile and enchanting addition to the choral repertory.

With a gentle Kyrie funky Gloria ballad-like Sanctus laid-back Benedictus and passionate Agnus Dei this work breathes new life into familiar words perfectly combining the contemporary with the ancient.The stylistic Piano part can be played as written or serve as a guide and an optional Bass and Drum Kit part is available separately for jazz trio accompaniment. Ideal for all mixed-voicechoirs the Nidaros Jazz Mass will make a groovy and soulful addition to any concert programme.This work was originally commissioned in a version for upper voices by the Nidaros Cathedral Girls' Choir of Trondheim Norway.

This work is classic Chilcott - vibrant fresh and great fun. It is an exuberant setting of the well-known carol in which the 'five gold rings' refrain is re-written to appear in an array of guises: gentle soprano solo swinging barbershop quartet hard funk and rock gospel style. This version is for an SATB choir but retains the flexibility to include 'guest' performers. Even the audience can join in! Percussion parts and the original accompaniment for piano duet are on sale.

Setting Christina Rossetti's poem 'Remember' this gentle piece was written in memory of the young people who lost their lives in the attack on Utøya Norway in July 2011. Chilcott employs an elegant recurring melody and an undulating piano line and the singers are encouraged to use a small amount of sign language to enhance the performance.Remember me is featured on the Wroclaw Philharmonic Choir's CD of Bob Chilcott's music.

For SATB and Organ. This beautiful setting of The Beatitudes from Matthew's gospel exemplifies the composer's skill and versatility in writing for mixed voices. He leads the choir smoothly through a range of keys and moods from the gentle simplicity of the opening 'Bless'd are the poor in spirit' to the more dramatic and colourful 'Bless'd are ye when men shall revile you'.
