When Joseph Haydn (1732 - 1809) lived in Eisenstadt, he composed for prince Esterhazy 125 trios for baryton, viola and cello. Baryton is a now forgotten old string instrument related to cello.
Here we present an arrangement of trio no. 78 for 3 basset horns. In order to adapt the piece better to basset horns, it has been transposed from original d-major to F-major.
