"Speranze perdute" è un celebre valzer di Alessandro
Morelli. La prima edizione in Francia è con ogni
probabilità del XIX secolo e destinata al mandolino.
Il valzer fu poi inciso dai Quattro Siciliani negli
Stati Uniti nel 1918 e successivamente da molti altri
musicisti. Oggi il brano è entrato stabilmente nel
repertorio della musica folk, specialmente in Italia
settentrionale e Canton Ticino.
