Dans cette composition insolite pour quatuor à vent :
flûte traversière, hautbois, clarinette et basson, le
rien n'est pas utilisé dans un sens négatif. Il est
lié plutôt à la notion d'espace étant l’absence
de matière. Une question se pose donc : le son,
peut-il exister là où la matière est inexistante ?
Serait-il alors la conséquence d'un murmure mental ?
Je ne vous dis plus rien. Laissons à la musique la
difficile tâche de répondre à cette question
éventuellement sans réponse.

wird nichts im negativen Sinne verwendet. Es hängt
vielmehr mit der Vorstellung zusammen, dass Raum die
Abwesenheit von Materie ist. Daher stellt sich die
Frage: Kann Schall existieren, wo keine Materie
existiert? Könnte es dann die Folge eines geistigen
Flüsterns sein? Ich erzähle dir nichts mehr.

möglicherweise unbeantwortbare Frage zu

utiliza en sentido negativo. Está más bien vinculada
a la noción de que el espacio es la ausencia de
materia. Surge entonces una pregunta: ¿Puede existir
sonido donde no existe materia? ¿Podría ser entonces
consecuencia de un susurro mental? Es preferible
callar... dejemos a la música la difícil tarea de
responder a esta pregunta posiblemente sin respuesta.
