I hadn't heard this hymn before, but it's a very
scriptural portrayal of Jesus' time in the Garden of
Gethsemane as Judas was on his way to betray Him. The
fourth verse is a reference to Luke 22:43--"And there
appeared an angel unto Him from Heaven, strengthening
Him." It is humbling to know that the Son of God
became so like us, He Himself needed the encouragement...(+)
