Paul - your sense of rhythm throughout makes me want to get up and dance! With headphones on I can't move too much but it's wonderful. Joyous, and uncomplicated, indeed!

I think you’re really on to something with this and the previous rag. There are many intriguing moments in this piece, esp. in the spots where you momentarily shift tonalities… This and your previous rag seem quite a bit more “traditional” than your many other pieces, yet they still retain you unique signature.

Especially in the first part of this movement the bass line is very clever/interesting. I started following it after maybe 8 bars and found it to be a slyly hidden motor that drives the piece melodically. It is an unusual placement for such an important part of the composition, but is even more intriguing when one finds that focal point. I enjoyed this movement a lot. Bravo!

You do not disappoint… Here I thought I was listening to a fairly standard ragtime-style piece (with a vit of your personal flair)…up through mea. 16 … and then … the magic of your individual style kicks in and the piece becomes quite wonderful. A most pleasant little romp with such a unique take on the ragtime genre. so well done!
