An intermediate level, because it is so slow. If these notes had to be played quickly, this would be a tremendously difficult piece.

Guys, I don't know if you've noticed but if you meddle with the fingering a little bit, you get a simple 3 note chord which is the same with both hands and don't have to overlap the hands. I can't explain it very well but honestly it's possible with a little bit of ingenuity to make this piece easier.

My mother played this as her recital piece at the age of 15 in 1939. She played it at home most of my young life. It will always remind me of her. It's both moving and complex.

Agréable à jouer et à écouter et pratique pour se délier les doigts

I can feel the darkness of this piece

This is a piece where you need to have considerable piano experience. This isn't the hardest of Rachmanoifs, but it is certainly a tough piece to nail. Esp, the middle part. But it is an amazing piece if played correctly. warning: Hard to read the music, as he uses large chords. but completley possible.

This is such a monster of a piece. I can't wait to get it back in my fingers. Poor Rachmaninoff had to perform it everywhere he went. He was too good at such a young age

I'm looking forward to playing it. I first heard it in the movie "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" and was enchanted with it. Thank you for the free music.
