One of the best romantic sonatas. The classic form connected with typical Brahms harmony gives an interesting effect. Sonata C is an example of a very difficult work, so it rules out not experienced pianist. I recommend it, both as a very original and technicaly hard sonata, as well as a piece which lasts a big range for performance interpretation.
