What does Thermal Top mean
The term Thermal Top or TT is a revolutionary technology invented by the Takamine R and D team. This technology consists of drying the wood of the table so that it reaches 0% humidity. Then, this table is rehydrated gradually up to about 6%. The wood fibers will therefore be tightened little by little in order to stabilize it. This process allows, in a way, to accelerate a process that would have taken several years to become "natural". The end result is a much more stable guitar confronted with variations of climate and temperature.
The integrated CT4B II preamp.
Before starting any manufacturing process, the Takamine R and D team gathers and analyzes the needs of the musicians. Manufactured following this principle scrupulously, the guitars of the Thermal Top range have been equipped with the CT4B II preamp system, paired with the Palathetic mic for unparalleled sound quality. A 3-band equalizer, a volume control and a tuner have also been integrated. So you have all the tools to refine your sound!
