The series Organ Plus Brass presents original works and arrangements for organ and brass ensemble specifically tailor-made to suit the requirements of amateur ensembles. The organ part is ideal for non-professional church musicians playing on small to medium-sized organs.Organ Plus Brass Volume 3 includes a Toccata festiva an original composition by Carsten Klomp which can be performed throughout the church year (with the exception of Passiontide). The series ORGAN PLUS ONE contains pieces which are freely-composed or based on hymn tunes, both original works as well as arrangements.

The editions include solo parts in C, Bb, Eb and F, which can be played by violin, flute, oboe, clarinet, trumpet and horn in F.

The Organ Plus One series was specially conceived for semi-professional church musicians and instrumentalists. It takes its bearings from the liturgical calendar and the pieces can be easily played in church services evening recitals or small concerts. Included are pieces which are freely-composed or based on chorales either original works or arrangements by the editor. In this volume the works relate to hymns of the Reformation including some composed by Martin Luther. Enclosed in each edition are solo parts for C B-flat E-flat and F which can be played by Violin Flute Oboe Clarinet Trumpet and Horn in F. For use in church services the chorale preludes are provided with accompaniments in the keys of the Lutheran hymnal.

The pieces may be played by any constellation of Brass Ensemble.Volume IV contains arrangements of church music by Charles Villiers Stanford both chorale-based and freely composed. The original works for Choir and Organ can be appropriately transferred to the festive scoring for Brass ensembleand Organ.Stanford (1852 - 1924) was an Irish born composer teacher and conductor. Following studies at the University of Cambridge he studied music in Leipzig and Berlin before returning to England where he was one of the founding professors of the Royal College of Music in London. He taught composition there until the end of his life.
