Keith Snell: Beginning Piano Multi-Key Reading: Piano: Study

Early exposure to playing in various keys promotes a strong foundation for fluent reading. and an understanding of music theory. Beginning Piano Multi-Key Reading introduces elementary pianists to twelve Majorfive-finger positions and key signatures. These keys and positions are presented in groups of similar keyboard topography to facilitate learning and coordination. Warm-ups etudes and short pieces provide reading experiences allover the grand staff helping students to avoid getting 'stuck' in the Middle C C and G Major positions. Beginning Piano Multi-Key Reading may be used with Beginning Piano Repertoire or any elementary pianocourse.
