PVG with Chord Boxes-Harry M. Woods (1896-1970) was an American musician who famously started his career as a pianist despite having no fingers on his left hand. He collaborated with the English publishers Campbell and Connellyto co-write the 1932 hit song Try A Little Tenderness. Initially recorded by Ray Noble it has since been covered numerous times - most famously by Otis Redding but also by Bing Crosby Frank Sinatra RodStewart Tina Turner Florence and the Machine Michael Buble and many more.
