Inspired by greats such as Shostakovich and Kabalevsky this quick-paced galop combines some slight comedic elements with intense rhythms as the entire work drives forward. Covering a wide gamut of styles and personalities this piece is sure to be a student and audience favourite. Energetic!

Rahbee’s Piano Sonata No. 2 is an appealing piece in the contemporary genre. Its wide-ranging expressive array is filled with fervor. The sonata’s untraditional tonalities allow the advanced student to experience a broader sense of musical expression. The first movement is rhapsodic in nature the second is a playful scherzando the third is warm and emotionally expressive and the last movement is exciting.

Designed to help the teacher motivate while also providing a wonderful collection of Christmas favorites In Recital with Christmas Favorites? Book One covers quarter half dotted half and whole notes; uses only 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures and reinforces basic musical terminology and symbols. Students experience movement up and down the keyboard with 8va signs. Most of the pieces call for only limited use of hands-together playing. Part of the Wtritten For You Series Mary Leaf's Celebration at Dunvegan Castle is a sparkling and lyrical piece which promotes musical expression. This festive solo in 6/8 time for the early intermediate student is written in the tradition of the music used for a traditional Scottish or Irish social gathering. Students will enjoy playing this spirited piece that will make everyone want to get up and dance!

This elementary piece has both legato and staccato articulations played in the Middle C position using quarter half & whole notes. Canyon Run also offers a lovely teacher accompaniment that both student and teacher will enjoy.

The mystery and wonder of the ancient Aztec civilization serves as the basis of this innovative and colorful new work. A large battery of percussion compliments the energetic writing in all instruments. After a mysterious introduction a theme is presented in a call-and-response fashion that is passed throughout the ensemble.
