This edition offers an extensive selection of these pieces – some of them highly contrapuntal others of a folk-like simplicity – written for a wide variety of instrumental combinations. Franck´s pavanes of which only a few have been individually published until now are also included making this volume all the more attractive to devotees of early dance music.
