Où peut-on trouver une embouchure de haute qualité  Son questionnement fût appuyé par son temps à la tête de l école de clairons pendant la guerre. En 1918, Vincent Bach s installa dans un bureau new-yorkais et commença à produire des embouchures. Les premières trompettes Bach furent fabriquées en 1924. Rapidement, les musiciens les considérèrent comme les Stradivarius de la trompette, inspirant le nom de la marque : Bach Stradivarius. Les trombones Bach suivirent en 1928.Après de belles années de réussite, Vincent Bach choisit de vendre sa société à une maison de confiance : Conn-Selmer, Inc. Après un déménagement de New York vers l Indiana, Vincent Bach prit le temps de former les employés afin de faire perdurer la fabrication des instruments de grande qualité.
