Break-Dance is an obvious next of kin to the two Clarinet trios Vox In Rama and Tattoo For Three. This piece however combines the roaring despair of the first trio with the twisted rhythmical display of the latter. The title of course is a reference to the modern street-dance electric boogie but the very music itself takes the naming most literally indeed: formally and rhythmically after a straightforward head-on opening it breaks into isolated jagged fragments winding up in a bouncing piano cadenza. Albeit not an obvious piano concerto the piano part hovers in the front line the same way the horizontal guy ringing himself on the pavement is doubtless aneye-catcher to passers-by. The springy 'body-language' that kicks off the piece suddenly stiffens and freezes into hard-edged blocks and the real 'dance of breaks' emerges into focus. Break-dance is commissioned by and dedicated to Yvar Mikhashoff and Spectrum. Arranged for 2 Trumpets 3 Trombones and Piano.

Nowadays works for Wind Instruments especially for Alto Recorder are being published occasionally while works for Violin and Viola Da Gamba have escaped the attention of the researchers. One of the most remarkable composition from among them is the Sonata In B Flat Major for three Violins and Continuo whose period copy present in the library of Uppsala University served as a source for this edition. The piece is interesting especially for its unusalstructure as it is composed as a dialogue between the three concert Violins that are in contrast to the broadly set tutti. In solo parts the composer provides equal space for self-presentation for all three Violins. The edition was prepared by Miloslav Klement.

John Taverner's Western Wind Mass is one of three extant Early Tudor masses bearing that title the others being by Christopher Tye and John Shepherd. They are so named because their canutus firmus derives from a setting of thelove lyric 'Westron wynde when wylle thow blow'. Taverner's extant works are not abundant by William Byrd’s standard but they include eight complete masses three Magnificat settings over twenty motets English adaptations ofhis Latin music a handful of secular songs and a couple of instrumental pieces.
