Bach this 3rd Volume The Little Organ Book – Three Fantasies and Fugues five Toccatas and Fugues is an edition of the Orgelbüchlein composed from 1708 to 1717. First published in 1900 this volume is translated in English and French and features the annotation of Marcel Dupré a French organist to help the performer get the most out of the music. This third book contains the eight following pieces: - Fantasia and Fugue – C minor - Fantasia and Fugue – G minor - Fantasia and Fugue – A minor - Toccata Adagio and Fugue– C major - Toccata and Fugue – D minor - Toccata and Fugue – D minor - Toccata and Fugue – E major - Toccata and Fugue – F major The preface of these Three Fantasies and Fugues five Toccatas and Fugues is well written with explanations of the comments and descriptions of the techniques to use for a good interpretation of this work. Revised edition of HN 120-Johannes Brahms presumably wrote the Fantasies op. 116 at the same time as the Intermezzi op. 117 in the summer of 1892 in Bad Ischl. His sojourn in the Salzkammergut obviously inspired Brahms to write music for solo piano asa year later he worked on other cycles when he was there. Amongst these late melancholy piano pieces op. 116 is in particular characterised by opposites. Four “dreamy” – according to Clara Schumann –intermezzi are juxtaposed with three “deeply passionate” capricci. Seven pieces in true Brahms’ style which are also accessible to non-virtuosos due to their medium level of difficulty. Our revision contains themusical text of the new Brahms Complete Edition.

Flor Peeters, born in Belgium in 1903, is one of the most important organists and organ composers of the 20th century. Composed by Philippe Gaubert  Cantabile Et Scherzetto is a piece for Bb Cornet and Piano. Written as a contest piece for the Paris Conservatoire it would brilliantly match the skills of an upper-intermediate Cornet player. The Piano part is also for an equal level. Published in 1909 this piece is generally thoroughly enjoyed by players and is divided into two parts. The first part the cantabile enables the player to work on their phrasing while the scherzetto is good training for triple tonguing. Philippe Gaubert (1879-1941) was a French flautist composer and conductor. He wrote manypieces of chamber music including three Sonatas for Flute and Piano and some Fantasies.

Book 1-Sebastian Lee was the eldest and most distiguished of three musical brothers natives of Hamburg though bearers of an English Name.Like most virtuosos Lee published many pieces designed to exploit a virtuoso's power upon his instrument-variations fantasies upon operatic themes divertissements etc. More important are his numerous compositons intended for purposes of instruction many of which were primarily written for the use of the Conservatoire in Paris. His method for cello is one of the most widely used of all such instruction books.

The piano pieces opp. 116-119 were written in 1892/93 and are the last collections of pieces which Brahms wrote for the instrument.
