Eric Whitacre: Lux Aurumque: SATB: Vocal Score

This a cappella collection of pieces for mixed choir by Eric Whitacre is the first available printed music compilation of its kind for the composer. The book includes pieces of varying difficulty wide-rangingin theme from the iconic Sleep and Water Night to the quietly angelic Lux Aurumque (Light and Gold) and the recent Nox Aurumque (Night and Gold). Commissioned by Philip Brunelle artistic director of VocalEssence (Minneapolis Minnesota) Nox Aurumque was premiered on 22 March 2009 at Orchestra Hall with the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers and the St. Olaf Choir. CoroCitt Di Roma gave the first performance in Italy on 20th June 2009 conducted by Maestro Mauro Marchetti.Arranged for SATB choir and includes a Piano part on the score for rehearsal purposes.
