It takes place in a small village in Norfolk and is set against a background of outbreak of war the Suffragette movement Unions and birth of the Labour Party. The scenes are linked by two modern day children investigating an old trunk at their Grandmother’s. There is a real connection with history here as the events are based upon what actually happened in the village of Burston in Norfolk at the time.
