Smith Hill (1868-1946) wrote the lyrics to the nursery
rhyme: "Good Morning to All". The sisters are from
Louisville, Kentucky, USA, and worked at the Louisville
Experimental Kindergarten, Patty Hill as principal and
her sister Mildred as preschool teacher. The lyrics to
Happy Birthday that are known today were originally
added as the second stanza in 1924 by Robert H. Coleman
(1869-1946).
