I've always liked Satie's “Gymnopédies No. 1” (not
so much the other two), the first of a trio he
composed. My thought: I can do this! …And so I
started in 2005 with my own Gymnopédies #1…then 18
years passed and #2 and #3 came (earlier in 2022)…and
now, again, No.4 found its way to my desk. All four can

That?s very kind of you to say so. I suppose there are many others who have composed similar music, though Satie was the forerunner. I am pleased you enjoyed this piece and the added instrumentation. Thanks a lot for leaving such an affirming comment.
I agree with Charlie, I do like it more than Satie's ones. The addition of other instrument sounds was surprisingly fitting though I expected a piano-only piece.
I will make sure to check the rest. Thanks as always for bringing such beautiful music to life.
