Here is the first jazz study of this serie on 7th chords. For a first approach of 7th chords for my students, I wanted studies (one in each key) using only 7th chords belonging to the major scale and as it's almost impossible to find in jazz standard, I've started to write specific studies for this purpose

Seventh Chords program

Here are the studies I've written for my students who arrive for the first time at the point where they're going to really work on seventh chords. Most of them are on a jazzy style, each one being on each major tone. The most important point being that each study had to be written only with the 7 chords of the major scale students were working on. In this way, they can start to familiarise themselves with these 7 chords and then work a piece of music which includes only these chords. (from time to time, you'll find additional version including the theme in 2 different tones, the one we're working on and the precedent one that had been worked. Now, this is not addressing to all students as rather difficult, and even too difficult for some students)
