Erik Meyer-Helmund (* 13 April 1861 in St Petersburg , Russian Empire ; † 4 April 1932 in Berlin ) was a European composer and singer .
He received his first piano lessons from his father. Later he went to Berlin and became a pupil of Friedrich Kiel and Julius Stockhausen . His most famous works were his opera "The two Klingberg" and "The battle of love". He also wrote a one-act farce entitled "Tischka", ballet music, instrumental music, numerous piano pieces and songs.
