I composed this piece of music to commemorate my recent
relocation to the state of Delaware, which probably no
one has heard of. One of my saxophone heroes, Ernie
Watts, grew up in Delaware and said in an interview
that it was a nice place to practice. I would also add
that it's a nice place to compose music! The
composition uses the form of 12-bar blues with an 8
measure bridge and features "John Lewis" changes. It
opens with the sound of the Maj.7th augmented 5th and
develops that sound throug...(+)
