Wind Sketches is a top quality concert work for wind band in three movements, inspired by the relationship between man and wind. Trade Winds, in the form of a march, is reminiscent of a shanty, conjuring up seafaring and the tradewinds. Becalmed, harmonically and melodically almost static, depicts the doldrums. All the more contrasting is Riding the Storm, which concerns the love-hate relationship of people to the winds that he needs and at the same times fears. Il finale, Riding the Storm, descrive i tanti venti tumultuosi, pericolosi, benefici e vigorosi.

A Masterpiece of form and design, this exciting new composition by the composer of ARABESQUE and DEDICATA is his best effort yet. The opening interludes between fanfare brass and rubato woodwinds set the tone for lush contemporary harmonies and beautiful flowing melodies. A slower middle section is followed by an impressive finale. The expressive writing of this piece is unmatched and is designed to show off every section of your ensemble. A contest and festival winner!

Three sketches is a series of three pieces for Piano named after the elements. Composed by Masayuki Nagatomi, it is quite a difficult series to play and it requires some advanced skills and abilities. The total duration of the set is 5'30 minutes. The pieces are: 1. Wind - which main theme represents a soft and quiet breeze, 1'30 2. Fire - fast and violent, which can destroy everything, and which depicts the flames sometimes big and sometimes smaller, 1'30 3. Water and Earth - really slow to start with, this part sounds like a river flowing quietly, with some part of acceleration The most difficult aspect of this series will probably be to give the correct execution for the audience to recognise each element. .
