Quiet golden miles of dawn??Smiling all the East along; And in my heart nigh fully grown,A little rose-bud of a song.??From ??Last Songs? by Francis LedwidgeDawn, radiant dawn! When morning comes my fears are gone.Daylight breaks, my soul awakes! And songs of Love sing on. ??Italics: Additional text by Jacob NarverudAbout the PoetFrancis Ledwidge (1887??1917) was an Irish poet from Slane, County Meath.
