En effet les Reed Saver ont comme particularité de filtrer une partie des vibrations les plus aiguës de l'anche (celles qui donnent un son métallique désagréable aux anches faibles) mais aussi de redonner un peu de corps et de matière à une anche ayant déjà beaucoup joué (beaucoup vibré).
