Marie-Alphonse Nicholas Joseph Jongen was born in Liege, Belgium in December, 1873, and died in 1953. He is one of the most renowned composers in modern Belgium for his neo-classical construction and colorful impressionistic harmonization. This score includes a separate trombone part.
