Furulyázzunk együtt! [Let's Play the Recorder] is for both teachers and learners of the instrument, for young people who encounter the instrument during their advanced studies, as well as anyone interested in learning the recorder as an adult, or who wants to refresh their former skill on the instrument. The volume provides supplementary material for volumes I and II of János Béres's Recorder Method (Z. 5406, Z. 7062): it contains recordings of the thirty-seven exercises, folk songs, and performance pieces found in the Method. In addition there is the music of many other exercises, groups of folk songs, and pieces, with their recordings. All the material is accompanied by abrief description which gives useful tips on how to overcome technical and musical challenges. This volume does not contain the musical scores of the exercises, songs, and pieces in volumes I and II of the Recorder Method, so the benefits of Furulyázzunk együtt! can only be fully enjoyed in conjunction with the Recorder Method. This volume is distributed in both print and digital formats. The audio recordings can only be found in the digital edition, but the printed edition contains a unique code giving free access to the digital edition.

Following the huge success of their instrumental method Look, Listen and Learn, Michiel Oldenkamp and Jaap Kastelein have focussed their attention on school bands and devised a completely new method that can be used in both instrumental lessons and class bands or wind ensembles.
Learning Music Together is the new method for young wind players and percussionists, aged eight and above.
Learning Music Together has been developed in close collaboration with professionals from the class band world, music schools, and academies in the Netherlands and Germany.
Learning Music Together combines instrumental lessons with a course for class band. The saxophone lessons offer saxophone -specific items such as new notes and technical exercises while at the same time supporting the learning of the class band, with a focus on rhythm, melodic structure and playing music together. The method consists of two volumes. Volume One introduces the first instrumental notes in unison and then develops part-playing with duets. Volume Two builds on the skills taught in the first volume and introduces pieces in three parts. In addition, supplementary material is available on the extensive website, e.g. demo- and accompaniment tracks for all pieces, additional pieces of music (well-known songs) and video tutorials. Learning Music Together is logically structured and illustrated in a child-friendly way - a perfect combination for young musicians!

Two Shakespeare Songs were written in 1989-1990. Cry, Cock-a-Doodle-Doo was written first, and is scored for Soprano Voice and Piano. It takes its text from a song by Ariel in The Tempest. The Witches' Song is for solo Soprano, with the text coming from Macbeth. Both are dramatic works which allow the performer to showcase her virtuosity; either would be a perfect audition piece or both could be combined as complementary items on a recital programme.
Alison Bauld (b. 1944) is an Australian-born composer and writer who lives and works in London. Her compositions are distinguished by their dramaticstructure, partly inspired by musical theatre. She has also written a three-volume tutor for keyboard and composition.
