The volumes of the Ad libitum series contain duos, trios and quartets of easy, medium and advanced levels of difficulty, which are playable with various combinations of instruments. Ad libitum Family Edition volumes are recommended mainly for families or groups of friends where at least two people play an instrument. Each of the pieces included can be performed using flexible instrumentation, whether there are two, three, four or even five persons who would like to play together. The latest volume of Chamber Music for Violoncellos contains four sacral works, two of which were arranged for cello quartet by the editor of the series, Árpád Pejtsik. Both Angelus!, Liszt's piano piece of ethereal beauty, and the Kyrie of Mozart's Requiem, an irresistibly surging four-part fugue, are magnificent when played with the immensely rich sound of the four cellos. The second part of the volume contains a pair of inspired works by two prominent cellists and composers of the 19th century: Karl Friedrich Wilhelm Fitzenhagen's Consecration Hymn and Friedrich Grützmacher's Ave Maria. While an instrumental skill of at least intermediate level is required for playing the upper parts due to the use of higher positions, the lower parts can be performed by beginner cellists. In 1945 Bela Bartok described 'Mikrokosmos' as a cycle of 153 pieces for piano written for 'didactic' purposes, seeing them as a series of pieces in many different styles, representing a small world, or as the 'world of the little ones, the children'. Stylistically Mikrokosmos reflects the influence of folk music on Bartók's life and the rhythms and harmonies employed create music that is as modern today as when the cycle was written.

Music for starting a Pop Band-Each volume in the series Begin The Band contains four entertaining great-sounding arrangements and original compositions in pop and jazz styles with added scope to improvise. Each piece consists of a vocal part three accompaniment parts and an easy part for wind players all in four different keys: C B flat E flat and C bass. In addition there are parts for Piano Keyboard Bass and Guitar (with chords) as well as drum kit and percussion. All the parts can be combined in any way you like to form a pop band jazz combo and so on.
