La partie piano a été réalisée par Dominique Le Guern. Le CD accompagnant l'ouvrage, de qualité supérieure, a été enregistré par Bruno Pasquier lui-même, sur un instrument de légende : un alto de Paolo Maggini (début XXIeme). Cet enregistrement exceptionnel donnera un exemple et un plaisir musical de choix à tous les apprentis altistes, ainsi qu'à tous les mélomanes ! Un cahier d'accompagnement piano est également joint à l'ouvrage. Chaque morceau est le fruit d'un travail d'arrangement, précis, adapté à l'instrument et au niveau de l'élève. Ce volume, progressif, est écrit uniquement à la première position, il présente donc un niveau de difficulté très faible et aisément accessible pour l'élève.
