One of the best-known and most-loved songs by British alternative rock band The Cure, "Just Like Heaven" was the band's first American hit single, and it reached the top 40 on the Billboard charts. The band's singer wrote this upbeat and energetic love song in honor of his future wife, making it a perfect choice for weddings, receptions, and cocktail hours, along with pop concerts, solo & ensemble contests, and any other occasion that you need to make your audience smile! This arrangement for violin and cello duet maintains the exciting builds, fun melodies, and most importantly the pure joy of the original, and it will be just as much fun to play as it is to listen to! In terms of melodic and technical difficulty, this chart is intermediate level, but I'm listing it as advanced-intermediate due to a number of interesting tied and syncopated rhythms. Have fun! :)

This is essentially a love song, with elements of gospel and is a modern, popular choice for weddings. It has been suggested that Bieber wrote this song about his wife and the fact that their relationship makes him feel closer to God.

This arrangement has been transposed into the more string-friendly key of G major and omits most of the rapping section (sorry, Chance The Rapper!) for obvious reasons.
