Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 4 - SKU: A0.928951 Composed by Eddie Green, 1917. Arranged by Donald A. Mills, 2016. A Cappella,Folk,Traditional. Octavo. 4 pages. Donald A Mills #2036997. Published by Donald A Mills (A0.928951). Arranged for the gay men's chorus, this arrangement is TTBB a cappella. It's a real toe-tapper that your singers and audiences will love. Many guys will recognize the social issues, even though this tune was written 100 years ago. This arrangement is of a medium high level of complexity. This song is written in the barbershop (close harmony) style, perfect as a barbershop entry into a concert. This song is perfectly good as a stand-alone piece in any choral concert.

String Ensemble Cello - Level 5 - SKU: A0.526260 By Glee Cast (Mashup With 782170). By Desmond Child, Jon Bon Jovi, and Richie Sambora. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Pop,Rock,Wedding. 22 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #6248797. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.526260). *INSTRUMENTATION: FOUR CELLOS*Livin' On A Prayer is one of the most iconic rock songs of the 80's and it is still beloved by millions to this day - and people just can't help singing along! With as much energy and hair-metal passion as the original, this arrangement is a ton of fun to play and to listen to. An equal-opportunity chart, this arrangement for cello quartet divides the melodies and solos among all four players so everyone gets a chance to shine. Rated advanced for some upper thumb position and a few tricky rhythms - it's pretty much sightreadable for adult professionals, but for everyone else I recommend to work on it before performing. Why choose Cellobat Charts arrangements? For any musician who knows what they're doing, the answer is easy: just listen to them. Every freelance musician has thrown hard-earned money away on questionable, error-filled charts by unknown arrangers from weird corners of the Internet. But watch out -- inferior arrangements not only make gigs less enjoyable to play, but they also make your group sound bad to your client and audience, no matter how great your players really are. That's why Cellobat Charts is here: to provide students and working string players alike with high-quality versions of highly requested music. My arrangements are guaranteed to be energetic, fun to play, and enjoyable to listen to, whether or not you're familiar with the original songs. Hear the difference for yourself! Full videos of many Cellobat Charts arrangements are available on YouTube so you know exactly what you're getting. Click Watch near the item details at the top of the page for full video of Livin' On A Prayer. Crowd pleasing guaranteed. Sarah “Cellobat†Chaffee is an in-demand acoustic & electric cellist and string arranger. Currently, she performs with legendary rock band Aerosmith in their “Deuces Are Wild†residency show, and she is the principal cellist for the Raiders House Band, playing for a crowd of 60,000 at all of the team's home games. She also plays with many other groups including Premiere Wedding Music, Bella Electric Strings, the Femmes Of Rock, and David Perrico’s Pop Strings Orchestra. Sarah has performed and recorded with numerous other artists including Disturbed, Mötley Crüe, Celine Dion, Halsey, Michael Bublé, Sarah Brightman, and Lady A. She is the exclusive arranger for a number of award-winning wedding and event companies all across the United States, including Premiere Wedding Music, Las Vegas Music Oasis, and Impulse Strings, and she has created custom arrangements for many other ensembles all over the world. Flute Solo - Level 5 - SKU: A0.1018922 Composed by Benjamin Harry Sajo. 20th Century,Contemporary. Individual part. 4 pages. Benjamin Sajo #6072947. Published by Benjamin Sajo (A0.1018922). Fugue: Wear Pearls and Smile is, on the outset, a fast, rambunctious adventure for many voices playing at the same time. It was conceived as a pairing for the equally vivacious second symphony of Ludwig van Beethoven–his 250th birthday is this year–but can stand on its own as one of my hardest, most challenging works to cook up.This piece is dedicated to those forced to appear positive when internally they’re falling apart. The title is inspired by a quote that’s been with me for a while, Why is it that men can be bastards and women must wear pearls and smile? by Lynn Hecht Schafren, the celebrated American jurist famous for campaigning for gender equity in courts. I’m taking the quote out of its initial context, but the power of that quote, for me, exemplifies how hard it is to maintain a sense of emotional decorum and dignity when you’re authentically a hot mess. And what’s more of a musical hot mess than a fugue? There are two realities to this piece. I’ll quote Dmitri Shostakovich, from his autobiography: The rejoicing is forced, created under threat, […] It’s as if someone were beating you with a stick and saying, ‘Your business is rejoicing, your business is rejoicing,’ and you rise, shaky, and go marching off, muttering ‘Our business is rejoicing, our business is rejoicing.’ On the one hand, it is insincere happiness, cloying perhaps. But the other truth, I’ll quote Oscar Hammerstein II, from The King and I: While shivering in my shoes / I strike a careless pose / And whistle a happy tune / And no one ever knows, / I'm afraid. I forced myself, against all impulses of my current being, to forge happiness. This piece, with its origin being a mental puzzle (fugues are puzzles), it became a construct where I could lift myself up and regain a sense of purpose. Therefore, it is invented–out of a literal need to survive–pure, genuine happiness.Future Performances: If you are interested in performing this work, please e-mail me.ABOUT THE COMPOSER: Benjamin Sajo (b. 1988) is a Canadian composer of contemporary classical music, as well as an educator. Since developing a fiercely independent creative voice upon the completion of his studies at Western (2010) and McGill Universities (2013), he continues to find inspiration from the intersection of mythology, art, and nature upon the contemporary human experience. In 2019, he released his premiere album of original music, The Great War Sextet: Canadian War Poetry with Trombone & Strings , with support from the Ontario Arts Council. He is a member of SOCAN and the League of Canadian Composers.

String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1262770 By The Carpenters. By Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Film/TV,Pop,Rock,Wedding. 17 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #855779. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.1262770). Originally written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, (They Long To Be) Close To You was recorded and released by the Carpenters as a single in 1970. Although the song had been recorded by other groups before, the Carpenters' version was by far the most successful, topping the charts in America as well as four other countries. And it's no wonder -- its catchy melodies, lovestruck lyrics, and intriguingly innovative harmonic progressions truly make for a song you want to put on repeat! Since its release, the song's album has been named one of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and to this day it remains an extremely popular request for weddings. So you really can't go wrong adding this one to your gig books! This Cellobat arrangement for your string quartet maintains the beautiful lush harmonies, soaring melodies, clever countermelodies, and joyous feel of the original for a chart that your group and your audience will both love. Rated intermediate; this won't be hard to sightread, but it will make a major impact!Sarah “Cellobat†Chaffee is an in-demand acoustic & electric cellist and string arranger. Currently, she performs with legendary rock band Aerosmith in their “Deuces Are Wild†residency show, and she is the principal cellist for the Raiders House Band, playing for a crowd of 60,000 at all of the team's home games. Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - SKU: A0.939717 Composed by Richard St. Clair. 20th Century,Contemporary. Octavo. 23 pages. Richard St. Clair #3002339. Published by Richard St. Clair (A0.939717). This 9-minute motet in which the Buddha-to-be Dharmakara praises His master, Lokeshvaraja Buddha and vows to become the Savior of all Beings (namely, Amida Buddha). The music beings with an extended recitative/aria by solo soprano, and proceeds to the full choral ensemble to its conclusion. The MP3 Audio Clip is a computer-generated soundfile of the entire work. The music is completely tonal and traditional, suitable for good amateur choirs and professional choruses alike.Words from the Larger Sutra on Amida Buddha expounded by Shakyamuni Buddha some 2500 years ago in India.[Setting: Many ages ago, Dharmakara Bhikshu (in his stage before becoming Amida Buddha) declares to his Master, Buddha Lokeshvararaja, his intention to create a Pure Land wherein all suffering beings can be saved.]Text (slightly abridged):Then appeared a Buddha named Lokeshvararaja, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened One, Possessed of Wisdom and Practice, Perfected One, Knower of the World, Unsurpassed One, Tamer of Men, Master of Gods and Men, Buddha and World-Honored One.At that time there was a king, who, having heard the Buddha's exposition of the Dharma, rejoiced in his heart and awakened aspiration for the highest, perfect Enlightenment. He renounced his kingdom and the throne, and became a monk named Dharmakara. Having superior intelligence, courage and wisdom, he distinguished himself in the world. He went to see the Tathagata Lokeshvararaja, knelt down at his feet, walked round him three times keeping him always on his right, prostrated himself on the ground, and putting his palms together in worship, praised the Buddha with these verses:The shining face of the Buddha is glorious;Boundless is his magnificence.Radiant splendor such as hisIs beyond all comparison. The sun, the moon and the mani-jewel,Though shining with dazzling brightness,Are completely dimmed and obscuredAs if they were a pile of ink-sticksThe countenance of the TathagataIs beyond compare in the whole world. The great voice of the Enlightened OneResounds throughout the ten regions. His morality, learning, endeavor,Absorption in meditation, wisdomAnd magnificent virtues have no equal; They are wonderful and unsurpassed.I resolve to become a Buddha,Equal in attainment to you, O holy king of the Dharma,To save living beings from birth-and-death,And to lead them all to emancipation.I vow that, when I have become a Buddha,I shall carry out this promise everywhere; And to all fear-ridden beingsShall I give great peace.Even though there are Buddhas,A thousand million kotis in number,And multiudes of great sagesCountless as the sands of the Ganges,I shall make offeringsTo all those Buddhas.I shall seek the supreme WayResolutely and tirelessly.Even though the Buddha-lands are as innumerableAs the sands of the Ganges,And other regions and worldsAre also without number,My light shall shine everywhere,Pervading all those lands.Such being the result of my efforts,My glorious power shall be immeasurable. When I have become a Buddha,My land shall be most exquisite,And its people wonderful and unexcelled; The seat of Enlightenment shall be supreme. My land, being like Nirvana itself,Shall be beyond comparison.I take pity on living beingsAnd resolve to save them all. Those who come from the ten quartersShall find joy and serenity of heart; When they reach my land,They shall dwell in peace and happiness.I beg you, the Buddha, to become my witnessAnd to vouch for the truth of my aspiration.Having now made my vows to you,I will strive to fulfilll them. The World-Honored Ones in the ten quartersHave unimpeded wisdom;I call upon those Honored OnesTo bear witness to my intention.Even though I mu.

Choral Choir (SSA) - Level 3 - SKU: A0.733023 Composed by Sholom Kalib. Children,Jewish. Octavo. 78 pages. Ayotte Custom Musical Engravings #2347255. Published by Ayotte Custom Musical Engravings (A0.733023). When commissioning Rejoice and Sing it was our intention not only to have a concert work written for our Youth Chorale but also a work that would be an instrument in teaching Hassidism, for what better way is there to teach Hassidism than through its music. We also wanted to demonstrate that authentic Hassidic music can be arranged in a sophisticated musical manner without having to sacrifice the inherent folk nature and simplicity that is so indicative of Hassidic song. We were most fortunate in securing the talents of Sholom Kalib to carry out this project with us. Dr. Kalib from youth has been steeped with a unique blend of love and understanding of traditional Jewish music and a very high degree of general musicianship. He succeeded in turning these basically simple tunes into a highly inventive musical work without sacrificing the legitimate qualities of the material with which he was working. It is hoped that those using this arrangement will find the same degree of success that we have had in our many performances. We wish to acknowledge with appreciation the following who made this work possible: Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Liebowitz of Dayton, Ohio who sponsored the commissioning of this work; Rabbi Jack Riemer, the board of directors and the members of Beth Abraham Synagogue, Dayton, Ohio for their support and help in many projects of the Youth Chorale; the devoted and hard working members of the Beth Abraham Youth Chorale who gave birth to this work and who, through their many unique accomplishments, have carried the message to their community and to communities throughout the United States that Jewish youth is indeed vibrant and very much alive. It is our fervent hope and prayer that this work will be a significant addition to the great heritage of Hassidic music and that those who will utilize it will indeed have an opportunity to Rejoice and Sing. The melodies included are:Tzahali Vôroni (Bobov)NigunRom'mu (Rabbi M. Solo Guitar - Level 4 - SKU: A0.1234273 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Richard Hirsch. Baroque,Christian,Classical,Country,Folk. Individual part. 7 pages. Richard Hirsch #829813. Published by Richard Hirsch (A0.1234273). I offer an arrangement of Bach’s all-time favourite Jesus, Joy of Man’s Desiring for solo acoustic or classical guitar. I have arranged the piece in 4/4 time in a folk-fingerpicking style giving it something of an American folk-country character, perhaps verging on a gospel. The arrangement follows the original as faithfully as possible with the melody and choral sections interwoven. I think the piece survives the time-change operation beautifully, retaining the joyful and praiseful character of Bach’s original. The piece is a joy to play and to listen to.The arrangement is accessible to intermediate to advanced students of acoustic or classical guitar. Any student of guitar who has mastered the basics of thumb-index-middle fingerpicking  (thumb, thumb, index, middle, thumb, index) will have fun with the piece.I give extensive left hand fingering accompanied by tabs as a guide to the intermediate students of guitar. Right hand fingering is given for the first playing of the repetitive passages and in passages where it might be difficult for the performer to find appropriate  fingering. Otherwise I expect the fingering to be more or less self-evident, leaving it to the individual taste and style of the interpreting guitarist.I have set the tempo to Presto for the arrangement to keep close to lively nature of the original, but the arrangement can also be played much slower, somewhere around Metronome 130. This results in a shift in mood towards a ragtime blues, verging on a spiritual. This great music is a never-ending source of inspiration. The piece is a nice follow-up to my folk-fingerpicking arrangements for Freight Train and The Entertainer.

Published by Joan Bujacich (A0.1217385). Looking for a great traditional song to play for your Mom or Grandmother for Mother's Day or anytime of year? M-O-T-H-E-R, A Word That Means The World To Me is from 1915 and was written by Theodore F. Morse and the words were written by Howard E Johnson. Ms. Bujacich created a clean, easy to read version with Alpha Notes in the key of F. It also has the words included. Fun for the family to sing-a-long! She simplified the rhythm so that there are no eighth notes and kept it in the original key of F but did not use a key signature. Instead, to make it easier, she just puts in the Bb's and other accidentals as needed. If you are looking for a harder version check out her Intermediate version also found on Sheet Music Direct and Sheet Music Plus.  Ms. Bujacich also has tutorials available from Youtube, so be sure to subscribe to her channel. She has been arranging music for her students over many decades giving her an edge on creating accessible and satisfying music for all level pianists, including children, adults and professionals. She goes the extra mile to bring you professionally notated scores that sound great and are created with love and care.  Here is a link to her SMP page where you will find a lot of her other great musical arrangements:  https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/publishers/joan-bujacich/18769Â

Beginners will have a blast with these ensemble arrangements leveled to correlate with popular flute method books! Each part is correlated with a specific lesson in the Flute 101 and Blocki Methods. Creating an ensemble for your beginning flute students is one of the best things you can do for them; intonation, phrasing, and dynamics are all more effectively taught when reinforced through ensemble work. Since these are multi-level ensembles, your students will quickly find role models within your studio who are playing at a higher level, increasing motivation to practice so they can play the harder parts the next time! *Please note that these arrangements correlate with method books meant for private lessons, which typically begin with the notes B, A, and G, rather than band methods, which start students with less beginner-friendly flute notes.Collection ACollection A includes two trios, two quartets, and one trio with a split first part. The pieces work well together if you are looking for a great concert program. They are presented here roughly in ascending order of difficulty. As a special bonus, extra parts for alto flute, bass flute, Bb instruments, Eb instruments, French Horn, and Bass clef instruments are included for The Water Is Wide and the William Tell Overture if you would like to expand your ensembleIncluded in Collection ARobins' DanceLullabyThe Water Is WideBare BranchesThe William Tell Overture
